Welcome, friends. My name is Annie Barnett, and I am so glad you are here.

The heart of this place is to create art that celebrates the goodness of a small, whole-hearted life.

Think about the small things: acorns and fuzzy caterpillars, marigold seeds and snowflakes, sea shells and sparrows. When I was small, these tiny treasures were the currency of imagination. Be Small Studios is a celebration of that sweet smallness, weaving whimsical fine art and hand lettered typography into a simple offering.

These days, I’m working less on my shop, and leaning more into life with my crew at home — wrestling for a little time to let the stories and illustrations that flow from that good, ordinary work.

I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
